Are We On the Brink of the Second Civil War?

Is it really going to happen today? Are we literally on the brink of the Second Civil War in American history in 2021?

Will there be a second attempted coup on the nation capital today?

What will happen at the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States?

All these questions we ponder about in our minds, especially remembering what took place two weeks ago at the certification of the electoral college at the Capital.

America  factually appears to be more divided today then it has ever been in this nation’s history. When people become bold to storm the capital building, the assembly in which Congress has passed our nation laws for over two centuries and think their actions are warranted and deemed necessary to restore or keep their nation, we as a nation are in serious trouble.

The storming of the Capital was not the beginning of what is to come next, instead it was only the climax to what may potentially happen today and everyday for the next four years. One may want to know, due to the highly negative and fight or flight like mood in America, if our nation capital will have to be on lockdown for the next four years to ensure no domestic terrorist attacks takes place against members of Congress or the incoming President.

The potential and likelihood of something of this magnitude happening is vividly realer now then ever. We saw the videos and images from the attack at the Capital on January 6, 2021, hearing all the rhetoric and the planned out objective by rioters to find members of Congress and bring them to their deaths by means of hanging.  This was their plan, this was the plot, and whether we realize it or not it was almost accomplished.

Sources says, Vice-President Pence was able to get away seconds before the rioters entered the Senate chambers. Can you imagine the Vice-President of the United States having to flee for his life on American soil in the US Capital because Americans want to kill him? Has Hollywood made a movie like this yet? One can not make this script up because it is our reality.

Republican supporters of #45 who claimed that the election was stolen have fallen back in the drop back particularly in relation to what unfolded at the Capital two weeks ago. They find themselves in limbo on what to do about an outgoing United Stated of America President who motivated an attempted coup and insurrection on the democracy of the United Stated of America.

What we ask our members of Congress, especially our Republican leaders, have you seen and heard enough to stand up and play out the purpose of the Constitution?

Will you make what took place on January 6, 2021, never take place again?

Will you hold the instigators, supporters, and motivators of the attempted coup responsible for their actions?

We wait to see what today beholds as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are sworn in as President and Vice-President of the United States. We pray and hope that peace unfolds today and that our nation is put back on the course of peace and unification, putting an end to the rhetoric of division that was resurrected over the last four years.

To the outgoing President we say, thanks for reminding us of what we don’t want in a leader and enlightening us that in life, one must never get angry at what one expects.
