2020 Begins with the Brink of World War III

With 2020 here, the United States and world, particularly the Middle East is shaken with new tensions between the United States and Iran. Shortly after the attacks on the US Embassy in Iraq, the US launched an attack that has taken out the top General and one of the most powerful leaders in the Iranian Military, Qasem Soleimani.

The death of Soleimani may have sparked the early onset of World War III, putting Americans abroad at high risk. Presidential candidate and former vice-president Joe Biden stated, "President Trump has lit a stick of dynamite.

How does this new tension on the world stage play a role in the impeachment inquiry, and what is the likelihood it would be put on pause if the nation is at full out war with Iran? Many questions are to have risen with these new developments and escalations. Will Syria, Russia, and China become involved, particularly, in that the various nations have been practicing war games with one another?

De-escalation is the prominent point of diction at this point, with words and advice coming from Britain, that war benefits no one here in this instance. War is inevitable, and as it appears will be occurring between the United States and Iran.

The president of Iraq Barham Salih fears that Iraq will become a bedrock of the war front, which will lead to further destruction of Iraq, a nation that has been at war literally for the last decades.

What an insane chain of events right, the attack on the US embassy, which were backed by the assassinated general, Qasem Soleiman. President Trump has shown a brute force of strength, which is strongly backed by the Republican party and some Democrats, while some view the president move as un-strategic that could lead to deadly consequences in the region, leading to another all-out war in the Middle East.
